Registrant Status Definitions

ACTIVE

Registrant is in good standing with the Board.

CANCELLED

Registrant chose not to renew registration within their professions delinquent period and the Board subsequently Cancelled their registration. 

DECEASED

Proof that Registrant is deceased was submitted to the Board. 

DELINQUENT

Registrant chose not to renew registration and therefore cannot perform professional work in the State of Arizona until they renew. 

EXPIRED

No longer used status. Possibly corresponds to Cancelled status. 

GRANTED IN ERROR

The individual was mistakenly granted licensure, and it was later found they were granted in error. Individual is not registered. 

INACTIVE

Registrant chose to submit an Inactivation Form placing their registration 'on hold' until they submit a Reactivation Form. While Inactive, registrants cannot perform professional work in the State of Arizona. 

PREVIOUS

After the August 2017 Statute changes regarding Controlling Persons and Alarm Agents, Controlling Persons were required to re-apply and were issued new registration numbers. This status corresponds to the old numbers no longer in use. 

PROBATION

Registrant's practice is being monitored by the Board's Enforcement Staff as a result of a Disciplinary Action. 

RESTRICTED

Registrants practice is restricted and they are on Probation as a result of a Disciplinary Action. 

RETIRED

No longer used status. Registrants now go Inactive when they wish to retire. 

REVOKED

Registrant was Disciplined by the Board  and their license was revoked. This person cannot perform professional work in the State of Arizona. OR If a Home Inspector failed to provide proof of Financial Assurance, they can be Administratively Revoked. 

SURRENDER

This a disciplinary action. Respondent voluntarily surrendered a license and cannot perform professional service in Arizona. 

SUSPENDED

Registrant was Disciplined by the Board and can no longer perform professional work in the State of Arizona for a period of time set forth in their Disciplinary Action OR If a Home Inspector failed to provide proof of Financial Assurance, they can be Administratively Suspended.
