Requesting Party: Please read and note the following information.
Arizona Law requires the Requesting party to indicate whether a records request is for Commercial or Non-Commercial purposes.
Per A.R.S. §39-121.03(D):
"[C]ommercial purpose" means the use of a public record for the purpose of sale or resale or for the purpose of producing a document containing all or part of the copy, printout or photograph for sale or the obtaining of names and addresses from public records for the purpose of solicitation or the sale of names and addresses to another for the purpose of solicitation or for any purpose in which the purchaser can reasonably anticipate the receipt of monetary gain from the direct or indirect use of the public records.
Board staff may contact the requesting party upon receipt of the request to ask for additional information or clarification regarding the purpose of the request.
The Board charges a fee for providing a list of registrants, but the public may use an outside source to obtain information on an individual and use the Board’s website to verify the selected registrant’s license status.
The Board charges a fee for processing both Commercial and Non-Commercial requests.
Requesting Part is NOT obligated to pay the quoted fee once they have submitted a request, but must pay the quoted fee to receive the request.
Please note that Staff cannot begin completing a request or estimate its cost prior to the requesting party submitting the request.
