The registrant shall submit the request on a form prescribed by the Board.

No application fee refunds will be allowed after the application has been assigned an application number and processing commences.

Delinquency Penalty

Certificates of registration or certification are invalid after their expiration date unless renewed by payment of the required renewal fee.  If an individual's renewal fee is not paid prior to the expiration date, it shall be accompanied by a penalty fee equal to one-sixth of the renewal fee for each year or fraction of a year of delinquency.

Effective as of July 8, 2014, there will no longer be an AIT designation.

Please select a profession or category to see related fees.

Effective July 1, 2015, the Board will bifurcate certification for individuals currently designated as Controlling Person/Alarm Agent.  Upon receipt of the completed renewal packet and appropriate payment Board staff will process renewal of the Controlling Person designation maintaining the existing certification number.  They will issue a new certification number for the Alarm Agent designation.  Two ID cards will be issued.  Pursuant to A.R.S. §32-122.06(B), one fingerprint card and fee will be required and results of the background check will be applied to both certifications.

As a point of clarification, please note that the Controlling Person’s expiration date is synced with the expiration date of the Alarm Business.  The Alarm Agent’s expiration date is 2 years from the date of issuance.  Therefore, there may be occasion where both designations will not have the same expiration date.  The Board will continue to send renewal notice reminders, but it is the individual’s responsibility to submit timely renewal forms to avoid being placed on delinquent status and having to pay a late penalty fee.

Fees will remain the same.

Alarm Business Renewal – $150
Alarm Agent Renewal – $130
Alarm Agent Renewal Late Penalty – $21.68
