A registrant who retires from the active practice of any board-regulated profession or occupation or who is not currently practicing that board-regulated profession or occupation in the state of Arizona may request that the board place the registrant's certificate of registration or certification on inactive status. The registrant shall submit the request in writing to the board (see Inactivation Form under Other Forms Page).
If the board has invalidated, pursuant to A.R.S. § 32-127(B), the certificate of registration of a registrant who seeks to place the certificate of registration on inactive status, the registrant shall submit all penalty fees that are due with the registrant's application for inactive status.
A registrant shall not place the registrant's certificate of registration on inactive status if the person's certificate of registration has been canceled by the board pursuant to A.R.S. § 32-127(C).
