Attention: The Board is moving to a new online platform mid May. Please read the information below regarding changes to renewing certification for controlling persons and alarm businesses once the Board moves onto its new platform.
Alarm Business and Controlling Person Renewals
ARS 32-122.05(E) provides, in part: “An alarm business and each controlling person shall file an application for a certificate renewal with the board no later than fourteen days before the expiration of the certificate that is currently in effect. If a certificate expires without the alarm business or controlling persons having submitted a timely application for renewal, the alarm business may not operate until the holder of the expired certificate files a new application for an initial certificate”.
Please be aware that the online platform will not allow either an alarm business or controlling person certification to be renewed after expiration, and a new application for registration will be required that, if granted, will require issuance of a new certificate number.
